Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EV24 Tracking platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including clients and authorized administrators.

2. Description of the Service

EV24 Tracking is a vehicle order tracking platform operated by EV24. The Service allows:

  • Clients — to track the progress of their vehicle purchase and import order, view associated documents, and follow each step from quotation to final delivery.
  • EV24 administrators — to manage client orders, update order stages, upload documents and media, and communicate order status to clients.

The Service is provided exclusively to EV24 clients who have an active vehicle order or a history of orders with EV24. Access is granted by EV24 upon order creation.

3. Account Access & Security

3.1 Account Creation

Your account is created by EV24 upon confirmation of your order. You will receive an email with login credentials. Accounts cannot be self-registered on the platform.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying EV24 immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access

EV24 is not liable for losses or damages resulting from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3.3 Account Access

Your access to the platform is tied to your active relationship with EV24. EV24 reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in the event of:

  • Completion or cancellation of all associated orders
  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use EV24 Tracking solely to:

  • View and track your own vehicle orders
  • Download documents associated with your orders
  • Update your personal profile information
  • Select your preferred language

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Access or attempt to access another client's orders or data
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the platform
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized administrative access
  • Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or security
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or content
  • Share your login credentials with third parties

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.

5. Order Information & Accuracy

EV24 Tracking displays information about your order as entered and updated by EV24 administrators. While we strive to ensure accuracy:

  • The platform reflects the current known status of your order at the time of the last update
  • Stage updates are made manually by EV24 staff and may not be instantaneous
  • Document availability depends on the stage of your order and the processing timeline of third parties (shipping companies, customs authorities, etc.)

EV24 Tracking is an informational tool and does not constitute a legally binding representation of delivery timelines unless explicitly stated in a signed contract or agreement between you and EV24.

6. Documents & Media

6.1 Documents provided to you

Documents uploaded to your order (invoices, customs documents, delivery notes, etc.) are provided for informational purposes. Official legally binding versions of documents are those physically signed and issued in accordance with applicable regulations.

6.2 Intellectual Property of Uploaded Content

All documents, photos, and media uploaded by EV24 administrators remain the property of EV24 or the issuing authority. You may download these documents for personal use related to your order only. You may not redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit them.

6.3 Your Submitted Data

Any information you provide through your profile is used solely to manage your account and order. You retain ownership of your personal data, subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. AI-Powered Features

EV24 Tracking includes AI-assisted features (order summaries, note translation) powered by the Anthropic Claude API. These features are:

  • Provided as convenience tools to improve communication clarity
  • Not legally binding — AI-generated summaries or translations do not replace official documents
  • Subject to accuracy limitations — always refer to original documents for definitive information

8. Notifications

By using EV24 Tracking, you consent to receiving transactional email notifications related to your order (stage updates, document availability, etc.). These notifications are essential to the Service. You may manage notification preferences through your account settings.

EV24 will not send marketing or promotional emails through the EV24 Tracking platform without your explicit consent.

9. Availability & Maintenance

EV24 strives to maintain the platform available 24/7 but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (communicated in advance where possible)
  • Unplanned technical issues
  • Third-party infrastructure outages (Railway, Cloudinary, etc.)

EV24 is not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from temporary platform unavailability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • EV24 Tracking is provided "as is" and "as available"
  • EV24 does not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • EV24 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform
  • EV24's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you in connection with your order in the three (3) months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the EV24 Tracking platform — including the design, interface, code, branding, logos, and text — is the exclusive property of EV24 and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written consent from EV24.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to EV24's principal place of operations. In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service:

  • You agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably by contacting EV24 at [email protected]
  • If no resolution is reached within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of jurisdiction

For clients located in countries with specific consumer protection regulations, mandatory local legal provisions continue to apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

EV24 reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the platform with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email.

15. Termination

EV24 may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Data retention following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
